The VURSA™ gear oil filtration system from Kaydon Filtration provides versatility in gear oil filtration with its rugged, compact, and lightweight design. Gearbox protection is supplied in a minimal size envelope by allowing the VURSA™ to be mounted above the floor, eliminating the need for additional floor space. The Kaydon Filtration Technology™ elements complement the VURSA™ design by offering both particulate or water removal.

The VURSA™ gear oil conditioning system supports long-term operation and significantly reduces the probability of oil related failures or unscheduled maintenance due to contaminated gear oil. The VURSA™ reduces mechanical failures, gearbox unavailability, and excessive maintenance costs.

FEATURE AND BENEFIT OPTIONS

OFF-THE-FLOOR MOUNTING: The lightweight VURSA™ is designed for off-the-floor mounting, which keeps valuable floor space available.

VERSATILE FILTRATION: The VURSA™ can accept different micron rating elements, plus offers a water absorbing element. The VURSA™ system can be adapted to meet your specific filtration needs.

SAFETY BY-PASS VALVE: During cold start-up or when the filter element has reached terminal pressure drop, the safety by-pass valve provides protection for the pump and eliminates the possibility of element collapse.

PRESSURE GAUGE: A simple and easy-to-read gauge is mounted on the VURSA™ to indicate pump pressure and element life.

MANUAL AIR VENT TUBE: Valve with tube is mounted on top of the vessel to eliminate trapped air upon start-up and drain of the system. Elimination of trapped air keeps vessel full of oil so entire element is utilized.

380 VAC / 3 PH / 50 Hz or 460 VAC / 3 PH / 60 Hz: Dual voltage motor provides flexibility for either 50 Hz or 60 Hz applications.

MOTOR ENCLOSURE Prevents moisture and dust from affecting motor operation.

EXPORT CRATING (OPTIONAL): Heavy duty and rugged crate for extra protection for overseas shipments.
